HBG is a bicycle component manufacturer comprised of five brands: Manitou (suspension forks and shocks), Hayes (hydraulic disc brakes), SUNringle (wheels), Answer Products (handlebars, stems, etc.), and Wheelsmith (spokes). HBG’s customers include Trek, Specialized, Giant, Cannondale, and numerous other bicycle manufacturers.
Marketing Manager 2008-2009
- Responsibilities included marketing strategy development and execution, brand development, social media strategy, web development, trade show coordination, media relations, and athlete and event sponsorship.
- Managed one direct report (a graphic designer) and a number of agencies and freelance artists, including web designers, photographers, graphic artists, and trade show vendors.
- Led the company-wide adoption of social media marketing.
